Terrace Art Benches

Public Art

Leah Rosenberg

Terrace Art Benches Pasalubong Passage at Mercy Housing in San Francisco exemplifies what we love to do at One Hat One Hand.

Artist Leah Rosenberg brought us her design for a long row of playful metal benches that needed to withstand the weather and last a very long time. Having worked with Leah on her stunning 'Everywhere A Color' installation, we knew how important it was to create a perfect surface to receive color and match Leah's intentions exactly.

One Hat One Hand's design and fabrication team worked through site-related challenges to produce the benches in the finest stainless steel while navigating the complexities of placemaking in a public space. The outcome, a highly functional piece of public art, brings joy to the community and will always remain one of our favorite projects.

See 'Everywhere a Color' at the San Francisco Airport.
