Terrace Art Benches
Public Art
Leah Rosenberg
Terrace Art Benches Pasalubong Passage at Mercy Housing in San Francisco exemplifies what we love to do at One Hat One Hand.
Artist Leah Rosenberg brought us her vision for a long row of playful metal benches designed to withstand the elements and endure for years to come. Having collaborated with Leah on her stunning 'Everywhere a Color' installation, we understood the critical importance of delivering a flawless surface that would receive color precisely and reflect her artistic intentions perfectly.
Leveraging our deep materiality expertise, our in-house design and fabrication team tackled site-specific challenges head-on, crafting the benches from the finest stainless steel with precision welding that ensured seamless straight lines, clean seams, and sharp corner details. We applied a highly advanced, durable coating engineered to preserve the vibrancy and integrity of the color against weather and wear.
The result is a highly functional and long-lasting piece of public art that brings joy to the community—and remains one of our proudest projects to date.
