Bay Area Workplace

Workplace Design

Theming is a powerful tool in interior design. It creates a cohesive, immersive environment that connects visitors to a space’s purpose and elevates their overall experience.

Over the course of two years, we worked closely Olson Kundig and Studio Matthews to develop more than a dozen placemaking and wayfinding elements for this Bay Area workplace. The theme celebrates the convergence of new industry with the region’s historic maritime trades, and the meeting of coastal estuaries with rolling grasslands.

Story and narrative guided every design decision. The experiential elements help visitors and employees understand the history of the site, while building a deeper emotional connection to the company and its mission.

Celebrating natural wonder and history of the Bay Area
