Theming holds a pivotal role within interior design, serving to forge a harmonious and immersive environment that deeply resonates with visitors. It not only mirrors the space's intended purpose but also elevates the overall encounter. 

Collaborating closely with Olson Kundig and Studio Matthews over a span of two years, we meticulously curated more than a dozen placemaking and wayfinding elements for this Bay Area workplace.  The theme we celebrate here is the meeting between new industry and old bay industries as well as the intersection of coastal estuaries and our grassy hills.

The narrative aspect assumes a pivotal stance in shaping the visitor experience, encompassing both wayfinding and storytelling. A substantial portion of the experiential design strives to enlighten both visitors and employees about the historical context of the building's location, while simultaneously nurturing an emotional bond with the company.
