In the design and implementation of custom commercial features, Nick guides clients through the choices that make a difference to the cost, function and environmental impact of their project.


Nick describes his work as designing better spaces for humans. With a robust roster of public art, placemaking, and tech-enabled experiences—as well as a Masters in Integrated Design, Business, and Technology—he specializes in immersive spaces that foster deeper appreciation of community, environment, and each other.


Speaking on topics of placemaking, sustainable building, and integrated technologies, Nick has presented at conferences including Creative Placemaking Summit, SF Design Week, and American Society of Landscape Architects. His various ventures have garnered press from New York Times, Scientific American, Vox, and University of Southern California, among others. In addition to his role at One Hat One Hand, Nick is also co-founder of LMNL Studio, a creative technology venture focused on exploring innovative design and immersive experiences. He values this opportunity to push boundaries alongside a talented team, continually learning and growing through collaboration.
